Southampton,
Pennsylvania – AdvanceNet Solutions (ANS), a
computer software company positioning itself as the market
leader of digital pharmacy solutions, has officially launched
its corporate website
(www.anshealth.com) in preparation for the release of the company’s flagship product, ePostRx™
.
ePostRx™ is a suite of Java and XML components that
provide B2B management and communication tools necessary for
pharmacy organizations to participate in any segment of digital
pharmacy. ePostRx™ is not Pharmacy Software, a prescription
writing tool, Physician Ordering System, or even an Internet-based
connectivity hub. It is the technology needed by all pharmacy
organizations to connect, manage and monitor electronic prescription
transactions with their pharmacy partners. ePostRx™
is technology that "e-enables" pharmacy technology.
According to Mr. John Strecker, President and CEO of ANS,
"we’re excited that ePostRx™ is positioned
as the industry’s first and only Java B2B product suite
that allows pharmacies to ‘go digital’. Our core
business objectives remain simple; Provide pharmacy organizations
the business tools required to compete in the new area of
digital pharmacy, while preserving their initial system investments;
and provide a state-of-the-art and cost-effective alternative
to traditional B2B Electronic Data Exchange (EDI) services,
Connectivity Hubs or Private Exchanges services."
With the official product launch scheduled for this upcoming
NCPDP 2002 show (March 24th-27th ), ANS is preparing its website
to allow users to interactively "test drive" ePostRx™
prior to product purchase. Developers can download the ePostRx™
toolkit to process secure, NCPDP Script transactions with
the ePostRx™ B2B Transaction server via the Internet.
Users will also be able to monitor their data exchange messages
by accessing the ePostRx™ Management Console on-line.
"The digital or electronic pharmacy is quickly becoming
a reality. Organizations will require enterprise, B2B solutions
and products that connect and manage the exchange of prescription
information, to remain competitive. With ePostRx™, companies
can harness the power of the digital pharmacy, today,"
Strecker concluded.
